About the event
I'm so excited for this summer's day camp's!
As some of you know I am an elementary art teacher and hanging with the kiddos is what I do best (besides working with clay).
This year's day camps are going to be a blast! Below you will see the different projects we are going to tackle.
Age range: 8yrs -15yrs with a max of 12 campers per session.
Day Camps last from 9:00am-1:00pm with a 30 minute snack break. Campers should bring their own snack and water bottle for the day. I will be serving up watermelon but I know that isn't everybody's favorite so please send your kiddo with a snack of their choice.
**If your child has an allergy please leave a note in the comments when you sign up!
Projects By Date:
June 19 - Summer FISH Chimes (think wind-chime in the shape of a trout - this is by far my fave).
June 21 - Slab Built Planters (made with terracotta clay)
June 26 - Coil Built Coffee Mug (also holds ice cream ;)
June 28- Wheel Throwing and Table Project. This one is the most popular because we use the pottery wheel. While students wait for their turn we will be making a small soap dish/ring dish at the table.
All work will be glazed and fired at my studio.
You will receive an email when pieces are ready for pick-up (turn around is between 1 and 2 weeks)!
*50% of your ticket price is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the day camp we can do our best to switch your day or issue a refund of 50%.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
